Delete your Expertini account

1In the app

1. Open the Expertini: Jobs, CV & Resume app and sign in.
2. Tap Profile, then Settings.
3. Under Account, tap Delete my account.
4. Type DELETE and tap Delete my account.

You can also go to Profile → Privacy & visibility → Delete account. The app then signs you out and clears what it keeps on your phone.

2On the website

1. Sign in on us.expertini.com.
2. Open Settings → Delete account (or go straight to us.expertini.com/candidate/delete-account/).
3. Type DELETE and select Delete my account.

You get an email when your account has been deleted.

3By email

If you cannot sign in, email support@expertini.com from the email address on your account. Use the subject Delete my account and name the country site (us.expertini.com). We may ask you to confirm the request from that address before we delete the account.

✓What is deleted

• Your account and profile: name, email, password and sign-in, phone, job title, skills, links, location and plan details.
• Your CV / résumé files: the CV on your profile and the CVs you sent with applications on this site.
• Your profile photo.
• Your saved jobs, job applications, external application history and job alerts.
• The companies you follow and the company reviews you wrote.
• Everything you saved in the career tools (for example CVs, cover letters, plans, interview answers), your resume, ATS and match scores, and your usage counts.

iWhat may be kept, and for how long

• Backups: copies in our routine encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days.
• Server logs: technical logs (for example IP addresses and the pages requested) are kept for a limited time for security and to fix problems, then deleted.
• Payments: if you bought a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) keeps payment records as the law requires. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it first.
• Copies held by employers: an application you already sent may have been read, downloaded or emailed to the employer. Those copies are controlled by that employer.
